Bill Wright was instrumental in the planning, development and implementation of developmentally appropriate classroom settings for children infant thru 5 years when I was working for the Army Childcare in Your Neighborhood Program, (ACCYN) funded by the United States Military Family Support Project.

As the Director of the Dave and Mary Alper Jewish Community Early Childhood Education Program, Bill was always available to support our mission of quality and providing the most updated materials available for our classrooms, he took time to understand the needs of our program and provided resources and information.

In addition to his knowledge of developmentally appropriate materials in the classroom, he provided several staff training opportunities for the staff to better understand how and why the materials provided supported the mission of quality early childhood education.

I have known Bill Wright for over 15 years. Bill Wright has been a very involved in the set up of new Early Head Start and Head Start centers working closely with Le Jardin Community Center, Inc. As the Early Head Start Program Manager, I have worked with Mr. Wright for many years in the role of an Education Coordinator where he created classroom plans, provided his expertise, resources, assisting in the classroom set-up, providing training to our teachers and participating in Le Jardin’s education events.
